Grupo Industrial IGSA was created in 1970 by its founder, the engineer Santiago Paredes Tirado.
With its corporate headquarters at Mexico City, IGSA started out by selling Gensets. A few months later, it opened the first Assembly Plant, also at Mexico City.
In 2000, due to business needs and as a result of production volume increasing, the Assembly Plant was moved to Lerma, State of Mexico. Today, the company owns two industrial sites in the area, where over 2,000 pieces of equipment are assembled every year.
IGSA, which initially operated mainly in the central region of the country, nowadays is a multinational company with presence in 12 countries and, obviously, throughout the Mexican Republic.
With over 45-years of experience in the energy sector, IGSA is currently the leader in Gensets manufacturing in the country. We are proud of our organic growth, without mergers or acquisitions, and of the fact that we are a 100% Mexican company.
Our specialization and client-oriented approach, along with the quality of our products and services, have become our main competitive advantage. That is why today we carry out projects in the segments of Energy Co-generation, Security and Telecom, Data Centers, Construction, UPS, Facility Management and recently also in the Health sector through IGSA Medical.
